Great&Small Yak Milk Chews are made from a mix of skimmed yak and cow milk. A small amount of lime juice and salt is added to coagulate (harden) the milk, which is then compressed into blocks and smoke dried for 28 days to give a unique flavour.
Made in small batches using traditional methods - these chews actually get tastier and hardier with age, which is why they have a 5-year shelf life!
One of the great things about Yak Milk Chews is that the entire chew can be eaten. Once a dog has enjoyed most of the chew, pop the remaining small piece in the microwave for 30-60 seconds, and watch it puff up into a crunchy edible snack!
This chew is often more suitable once puppies have undergone their initial teething, and are usually most suitable for dogs over 9 months of age.
However, provided they are chewed safely and slowly, for short periods of time and with proper supervision, these chews can be appropriate for dogs of all ages. All dogs are different, so it is best to trial any chew for a short period of time and remove if necessary.
