Who we are.
We.pet is a small, dedicated team of individuals who are passionate about pets and supporting the independent sector.
Operating out of a 43,000 sq foot modern purpose-built warehouse facility and offices in West Sussex, We.pet is jointly owned by Dan Vander and Robert Frost; experienced businessmen who have run small and medium sized businesses in different sectors for over 20 years.
Over the last decade they’ve dealt with the challenges posed by online retailers and large multinational corporations in their sectors, and now bring that experience to We.pet.
Dan and Robert have used customer-focussed strategies to help their businesses thrive in an ever-evolving marketplace. These same successful strategies will be employed at We.pet, where we will focus on giving your customers in-demand products, at prices that offer them outstanding value for money.

We.pet is jointly owned by Dan Vander and Robert Frost.
In early 2019 Dan was chatting with his long-term friend Dean Richmond, Chief Executive of Pet Family Group, about the impact of internet retailers on his office supplies business and it became apparent that the Independent Pet Trade was facing very similar challenges.
A couple of conversations later and with the encouragement of Dan's two Labradors Cooper & Betsy and Margot the cat the we.pet concept was created. We set a target to launch the new venture at the PATS Show in Sandown by February 2020.
Initially supplying many of the hugely successful products that have been designed and developed for Pets Corner, the long-term goal is to create a diverse portfolio of unique products. We aim to make independent retailers the primary destination for pet owners in their areas.
We are excited to be running a wholesaler uniquely placed to service the independent sector with fantastic brands that we know your customers will love.
